In 2007, Bruce Hornsby, B.M. '77, and his wife Kathy’s generous gift to the Frost School of Music endowed a groundbreaking new songwriting program, The Bruce Hornsby Creative American Music Program. Since that time the CAM program has emerged as one of the most distinctive and renowned songwriting programs in the country. The Hornsby’s generosity also made possible the Bruce Hornsby Endowed Undergraduate Scholarship, awarded to exceptional juniors or seniors in the CAM program.
